Utah State Forces, Recovers Fumble To Set Up Easy TD Against SJSU

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah State forced a turnover by the San Jose State Spartans to set up an easy touchdown drive by the Aggie offense.
The Spartans hosted the Aggies on Saturday, November 13.
With 10:07 left in the second quarter, USU pressure SJSU quarterback Nick Nash and forced fumble deep in Spartan territory. The Aggies recovered the pigskin on the four-yard line to set up a 1st & Goal for their offense.

Two play laters, Utah State quarterback Logan Bonner tossed a ball into the end zone for Derek Wright.
The Bonner-Wright connection tied the game at 14-14.

The play capped a two-play, four-yard drive that lasted only 12 seconds.
After the score, Bonner was 11/15 passing for 108 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
