Clarkson Scores 11 Points, Hits Buzzer-Beater During 76-Second Stretch

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson scored 11 points during the final 76 seconds of the opening quarter, including a buzzer-beater against the Miami Heat.
The Jazz hosted the Heat at Vivint Arena on Saturday, November 13.
During the final 1:16 of the first quarter, Clarkson exploded for 11 of his first 14 points of the contest.
The scoring burst by last year’s NBA Sixth Man of the Year helped the Jazz overcome a double-digit deficit to make it a 27-24 Miami lead at the end of the first 12 minutes of game time.

At the end of the quarter, Clarkson had 14 points on 4-5 shooting, including 3-4 from beyond the arc. He added two rebounds and an assist in five minutes of action.
As a team, the Jazz shot 35.0 percent overall and 5-14 for 35.7 percent from downtown.

Duncan Robinson led the Heat with nine points.
