QB Cam Rising Runs Keeper For TD To Start Utah/Arizona Game

SALT LAKE CITY – Utes quarterback Cam Rising burst down the sideline for a touchdown on a keeper run to start Utah’s game against the Arizona Wildcats.
The Wildcats hosted the Utes on Saturday, November 13.
With 10:05 remaining in the opening quarter, Rising sprinted down the far sideline for 11 yards and six points.
Rising’s run gave Utah an opening drive touchdown for the fifth consecutive game.

The score capped a nine-play, 75-yard drive to start the game.
On the opening possession, Rising was a perfect 3/3 passing for 37 yards. He also added one carry for 11 yards and a touchdown.
This season, Rising has run for four touchdowns.

He entered the game having thrown for 1,458 yards, 12 touchdowns, and two interceptions with a 63.5 completion rate in 2021.
Utah’s game against Arizona is broadcast on the Pac-12 Network and 700 AM.
