Ridgeline Flies Past Dixie To Complete Perfect Season With 4A State Title

SALT LAKE CITY – The Ridgeline RiverHawks flew past the Dixie Flyers to complete a perfect season with the 4A state championship in high school football.
The No. 2 RiverHawks and No. 4 Flyers played at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Friday, November 12.
Ridgeline defeated Dixie, 45-20.

The victory gave the RiverHawks their first football state championship in school history.
Ridgeline opened the game with a 68-yard touchdown pass from Kaden Cox to Braylon Majors.
Dixie responded with a touchdown to tie the game with 2:01 left in the first quarter.
After the Flyers’ score, the RiverHawks scored three unanswered touchdowns to go up 25-6 at halftime.
Dixie began the second half with its second touchdown drive of the contest.
Ridgeline responded with three consecutive scores to put the game away.
The Flyers added another touchdown with five minutes left in the fourth quarter to make it a 45-20 game.
Cox finished the game with five passing touchdowns.
Ridgeline’s Noah White ran for a pair of scores.
Bronson Barben led Dixie with a pair of touchdowns.
With the win, the RiverHawks finished the season with a perfect 13-0 record and their first state title in football.
