SALT LAKE CITY – Real Salt Lake will travel to the pacific north-west for a date with the Seattle Sounders on November 23rd, the league announced.
Kickoff time will be at 8:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on FS1.
Real Salt Lake qualified for the 2021 MLS Playoffs following a last-second goal from Damir Kreilach against Sporting Kansas City on decision day. The win over SKC secured the seventh seed in the Western Conference for Real Salt Lake.

Seattle, on the other hand, enters the playoffs having earned the second seed in the conference following the 34 game regular-season schedule.
The Sounders boast one of the better teams in the league, headlined by the attacking threats of Cristian Roldan, Jordan Morris, Raúl Ruidíaz, Nicolás Lodeiro among others.
Former Real Salt Lake manager Freddy Juarez is now a member of the Sounders coaching staff having left Real Salt Lake abruptly on August 27th. Although no love is lost between the two sides, the stakes are always raised knowing the former Real manager now calls Seattle home.
Furthermore, former Real Salt Lake general managers Garth Lagerway and Craig Waibel also call Seattle home as they now conduct themselves in the roles of general manager and technical director respectively.
Real Salt Lake and Seattle have endured many hard-fought battles over the years, however, Seattle leads the all-time record at home 13-3-3.
