SALT LAKE CITY – Rudy Gobert is known for his lob catching and shot-blocking, but not so much for his ball-handling skills and mid-range jump shot.
But against the Orlando Magic, it looked like the three-time Defensive Player of the Year was wanting to diversify his game.
With 3:18 left in the first half, Gobert faced up against the Magic’s Wendell Carter Jr., put the ball between his legs, and pulled up for the smooth jumper.

Gobert led the Jazz at the half with 11 points and nine rebounds as the Jazz erased an 18 point deficit to take a 52-50 lead at the break.
The two-time All-Star added three blocks in the opening 24 minutes of the game.
The Jazz are looking to finish their three-game road trip with a winning record. After beating Atlanta to open the trip, the Jazz fell 118-115 against the Miami Heat before facing the Magic on the back end of a back-to-back.
