Jazz Center Hassan Whiteside Denies Magic’s Ross With Nasty Block

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz center Hassan Whiteside denied a dunk attempt by Terrence Ross with a nasty block during the first half of Utah’s game against the Orlando Magic.
The Magic hosted the Jazz at Amway Center on Sunday, November 7.
With 5:19 left in the second quarter, Whiteside went prevented a driving dunk attempt by Ross with a vicious rejection.

It was Whiteside’s first swat of the game.
At the time of the block, the Jazz trailed the Magic, 38-31.
This season, Whiteside is averaging 6.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in 16.2 minutes per game.
White has 15 blocks this season.
