Tavion Thomas Rumbles For Fourth TD In First Half Of Utah/Stanford Game

SALT LAKE CITY – Utes running back Tavion Thomas battled his way through defenders to reach the end zone for the fourth time in the first half of Utah’s game against the Stanford Cardinal.
The Cardinal hosted the Utes on Friday, November 5.
With 6:37 left in the second quarter, Thomas powered his way 11 yards and across the goal line for his fourth touchdown in the first half.
Thomas’ score was his 14th of the season.
The score gave the Utes a 28-0 lead.

It capped a 10-play, 90-yard drive that took 4:17 off the clock.
After his fourth time reaching the end zone, Thomas had 13 carries for 153 yards and four touchdowns.

The sophomore running back entered the contest with 102 carries for 565 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground this season.
Thomas has found the end zone in each of his last five games for the Utes.
Utah’s game against Stanford is broadcast on FS1 and 700 AM.
