Utah RB Tavion Thomas Powers Into End Zone For TD Against Stanford

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Utes running back Tavion Thomas burst across the goal line for an early touchdown against the Stanford Cardinal.
The Cardinal hosted the Utes on Friday, November 5.
With 10:57 remaining in the opening quarter, Thomas ran out of the backfield and into the end zone for a 10-yard score.
Thomas’ touchdown gave the Utes an early 7-0 lead.
It gave Utah an opening drive touchdown for the fourth straight game.

The run capped a nine-play, 65-yard drive that lasted 4:03.
Seven of the plays were rushes that totaled 47 yards.
Thomas had four carries for 25 yards and a touchdown.

The sophomore running back entered the contest with 102 carries for 565 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground this season.
Thomas has found the end zone in each of his last five games for the Utes.
Utah’s game against Stanford is broadcast on FS1 and 700 AM.
