No. 21 Orem Outlasts No. 4 Bountiful, Advances To Semifinals

SALT LAKE CITY – The No. 21 Orem Tigers outlasted the No. 4 Bountiful Redhawks on Friday night, 40-33.

Orem’s Mack Hixson ran for a pair of touchdowns in the game. Corbin Cottle had two scores for the Redhawks.
The winner will battle No. 1 Springville in the semifinals on Thursday, November 11 at 11 a.m. MT at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

No. 8 Timpanogos 14 @ No. 1 Springville 56
It was all Springville from the beginning. Ryder Burton threw two touchdown passes, while Kaden DeLlamas had one through the air. They found Trevin Kelly, Cole Clement and Bradey Mortensen. Seth Rigtrup led the way with three rushing touchdowns, along with one TD run by Tisi Valeti.
Springville will face No. 21 Orem in the semifinals on Thursday, November 11 at 11 a.m. MT at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
No. 7 Lehi 23 @ No. 2 Timpview 13
The Pioneers started the game with a pick-six by Isaac Terrell. Their defense held the Thunderbirds to just one touchdown and two field goals. Grayson Brousseau threw a touchdown pass to Boston Bingham.
Lehi will take on No. 3 Stansbury in the semifinals on Thursday, November 11 at 2:30 p.m. MT at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

No. 22 East 7 @ No. 3 Stansbury 21
The Stallions scored twice out of the gates with a 99-yard TD and a 9-yard score from Nate Bushnell. Chase Barker got the Leopards on the board with a pick-six. Ezra Harris found Dylan Hamilton for a touchdown to put the game away for Stansbury.
Stansbury will square off with No. 7 Lehi in the semifinals on Thursday, November 11 at 2:30 p.m. MT at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
