Runnin’ Utes Win Exhibition Against Westminster

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men’s basketball team captured an exhibition victory over crosstown foe Westminster.
The Runnin’ Utes hosted the Griffins on Thursday, November 4.
Utah defeated Westminster, 87-51.
It was Craig Smith’s debut as head coach of the Runnin’ Utes program.

David Jenkins Jr. led the Utes with 13 points on 5-9 shooting, including 3-7 from beyond the arc.
Branden Carlson was Utah’s second-leading scorer with 11 points.
Former Utah State Aggies Rollie Worster and Marco Anthony made their first appearances with Utah.
Worster had six points on 2-3 field goals. Anthony scored four points on 2-3 shooting.

Utah’s next game is against Abilene Christian on Tuesday, November 9 at 6 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on the Pac-12 Network and 700 AM.
