BYU began the drive on their own 26 yard line. Jaren Hall completed a first down pass to Tyler Allgeier before Allgeier carried the ball twice, picking up 20 yards. Hall then completed a 17-yard pass to Keanu Hill before finding Puka Nacua in the end zone for the touchdown.
It was Jaren Hall’s 10th passing touchdown of the season and Nacua’s 2nd receiving touchdown. The two connected for a touchdown two weeks ago in Waco against the Baylor Bears. Nacua has emerged as a favorite target for quarterback Jaren Hall over the course of the season, especially when he wants to push the ball deep.
Jaren Hall to Puka Nacua was a thing of beauty.

Nacua has acclimated well in Provo after a slow start to the season. Puka and his brother Samson sat out BYU’s opening game against Arizona. Puka Nacua is second on the team in receiving yards this season. The Cougars continue to roll early against the Cavaliers.
