SANDY, Utah – Despite scoring a pair of late goals, RSL was unable to overcome a three-goal deficit against the San Jose Earthquakes.
Real Salt Lake midfielder Maikel Chang scored a goal late in the second half to pull one back against the Earthquakes.
In the 85th minute, Maikel Chang had an opening inside the 18-yard box and ran in and tapped the ball into the back of the net.
That cut San Jose’s lead to 4-2 in the final moments of the match. It’s the second goal of the season for Chang and the third of his career with RSL.
