PROVO, Utah – Add TV commercials to the long list of things BYU mascot Cosmo has accomplished.
The lovable mascot of BYU made a cameo in a recent Nissan commercial centered around their college football-focused “Heisman House.”

Cosmo joined Clemson’s Tiger and fellow future Big 12 mascot Shasta from Houston in Nissan’s Heisman House. The furry mascots were leaving fur balls everywhere. However, former Heisman Trophy winners Eddie George (Ohio State, 1995), Derrick Henry (Alabama, 2015), and the most recent winner DeVonta Smith from Alabama, didn’t like all the furballs.

Cosmo was seen in the commercial doing stretches and sitting on the couch next to UGA’s Hairy Dawg, who the Heisman winners brought into the house to get the cats in line.
BYU’s Cosmo recently celebrated his 68th birthday and is showing no signs of letting down his guard. Recently, Cosmo put together a dance with the Cougarettes to the song “Birdwalk.” Then there’s that National Championship win he secured courtesy of BYU fans voting him to the top.
Nissan has released five Heisman House commercials in 2021, with more coming throughout the college football season.

Along with appearing in a Nissan commercial, Cosmo has also collaborated with insurance company Allstate in an effort to “celebrate college football.”
