No. 9 Pine View Upsets No. 1 Desert Hills With Last-Second Touchdown

SALT LAKE CITY – The No. 9 Pine View Panthers upset the No. 1 Desert Hills Thunder with a last-second touchdown on Friday night.
No. 9 Pine View 37 @ No. 1 Desert Hills 35
The Panthers beat the Thunder, 37-35. Pine View trailed Desert Hills by four points at the start of the fourth quarter. With one second left in the game, Tyler Brown found Turner Williams for a 13-yard touchdown pass to put the Panthers in front. Pine View’s Tyson Moten returned a pair of kickoffs for touchdowns during the game. Tyden Morris led Desert Hills with three touchdown runs.
Pine View will face No. 4 Dixie on Friday, November 5 at 6 p.m. MDT.

No. 5 Sky View 35 @ No. 4 Dixie 36
The No. 4 Dixie Flyers advanced past the No. 5 Sky View Bobcats with an overtime victory on Friday night. The Flyers and Bobcats combined to score 35 points during the fourth quarter and were knotted up at the end of regulation. After Sky View scored a touchdown to open overtime, Dixie found the end zone before deciding to go for the game rather than play for another overtime. Derek Kesterson connected with Jakheo Mitchell on a tw0-point conversion to lift the Flyers to victory.
Dixie will square off with No. 9 Pine View on Friday, November 5 at 6 p.m. MDT.
No. 7 Logan 7 @ No. 2 Ridgeline 50
The No. 2 Ridgeline RiverHawks maintained their undefeated season by blowing out Logan, 50-7. Carson Cox tossed five touchdown passes in the RiverHawks’ win. Logan prevented a shutout with a touchdown in the final minute of action.
Ridgeline will battle No. 6 Crimson Cliffs on Friday, November 5 at 6 p.m. MDT.
No. 6 Crimson Cliffs 31 @ No. 3 Green Canyon 10
The No. 6 Crimson Cliffs Mustangs upset the No. 3 Green Canyon Wolves on Friday night, 31-10. Crimson Cliffs’ Easton Droubay ran for four touchdowns in the game.
Crimson Cliffs will take on No. 2 Ridgeline on Friday, November 5 at 6 p.m. MDT.
