SALT LAKE CITY – Real Salt Lake winger Justin Meram has been announced as a member of the MLS Team of the Week following his impressive display coming off the bench against FC Dallas midweek.
Meram, 32, came off the bench in the 74th minute but made an immediate impact. A minute into his inclusion he cut onto his right foot from outside of the box, wrapped his foot around the ball and bounced it off the woodwork and into the back of the head of Dallas goalkeeper Jimmy Maurer before having to settle for a corner kick.

Then, five minutes later Meram played a perfect delivery into the box that found the right foot of Damir Kreilach who scored. Remarkably, just 10 minutes later, Meram played a one-two on the left flank with captain Albert Rusnák whose left-footed shot found the bottom right-hand corner of the net to steal three points from Toyota Stadium.
In 16 minutes Meram completely transformed the manner that Real Salt Lake played. He was vital in helping Real Salt Lake pick up a much-needed three points as the fight for the western conference playoffs continues.
