SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz center Hassan Whiteside was ejected following an altercation with Denver Nuggets forward JaMychal Green on Tuesday night.
With 4:57 remaining in the game and the Jazz holding a 108-97 lead, Donovan Mitchell made a layup and got fouled. While Mitchell was out of bounds, JaMychal Green and Hassan Whiteside nudged each other. Then Green gave a pretty hard push to Whiteside before the two were separated by officials and teammates.
Green was taken clear to his bench where he still needed to be held back by a couple of his teammates. Whiteside walked near Utah’s bench with a cooler head of the two.
