SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – NBA officials ejected Jazz forward Joe Ingles after assessing a flagrant foul on the Aussie during the first quarter of Utah’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

The Kings hosted the Jazz at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on Friday, October 22.

With 1:36 remaining in the opening quarter, Kings guard Davion Mitchell attempted to rise up for a dunk when Ingles made contact with the rookie.

Mitchell tumbled to the court and the officials went to the sideline to review the play.

During the review, Ingles apologized to Mitchell for the contact.

During his six minutes of game time, Ingles was 0-1 shooting with one foul. He posted a plus-five rating.

At the end of the first 12 minutes, the Jazz trailed the Kings by two points, 26-24.
