Joe Ingles Ejected For Flagrant Two Foul During First Quarter Of Jazz/Kings Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – NBA officials ejected Jazz forward Joe Ingles after assessing a flagrant foul on the Aussie during the first quarter of Utah’s game against the Sacramento Kings.
The Kings hosted the Jazz at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on Friday, October 22.
With 1:36 remaining in the opening quarter, Kings guard Davion Mitchell attempted to rise up for a dunk when Ingles made contact with the rookie.

Mitchell tumbled to the court and the officials went to the sideline to review the play.
During the review, Ingles apologized to Mitchell for the contact.
After looking at video of the play, Ingles was assessed a flagrant two foul, which carries an automatic ejection.
During his six minutes of game time, Ingles was 0-1 shooting with one foul. He posted a plus-five rating.
At the end of the first 12 minutes, the Jazz trailed the Kings by two points, 26-24.
After one, the @utahjazz trail the @SacramentoKings 26-24 as Sacramento ends the quarter on an 8-0 run.
