SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guards Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley started hot from distance to open Utah’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

The Kings hosted the Jazz at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on Friday, October 22.

It was Utah’s first road game of the season.

During the opening minutes of the first quarter, Mitchell and Conley each connected on a pair of three-pointers to get the Jazz offense going.

The quick start by both guards was a welcome sign for the Jazz after the duo struggled to score during the team’s season-opening win on October 20.

At the end of the first 12 minutes, the Jazz trailed the Kings by two points, 26-24.

Mitchell scored six points on 2-7 shooting, including 2-4 from downtown. Mitchell also had one assist and one steal in eight minutes.

Conley posted a team-high eight points on 2-4 field goals, including 2-3 from deep. The veteran guard added one rebound, one assist, and one steal in eight minutes of action.

Utah’s game against Sacramento is broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, NBA League Pass, and The Zone Sports Network 97.5 FM.
