SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Holly Rowe will become the first woman to serve as a television analyst for the Utah Jazz local broadcast when they face the Sacramento Kings tonight at Golden 1 Center.
The team announced hours before tip-off that Rowe would step into the role for former Jazzman Thurl Bailey who took over the job full-time earlier this season.
Rowe will fill in alongside the longtime voice of the Jazz Craig Bolerjack.

Prior to Bailey taking over as the full-time analyst, the role was held by Matt Harpring dating back to 2010.
Former Salt Lake City Stars and Jazz guard Ron Boone previously served as the analyst on the team’s TV and radio simulcast before moving to radio full-time alongside David Locke.
Rowe is a television veteran but has strong ties to the state of Utah. The longtime ESPN reporter attended Brigham Young University and the University of Utah before starting at the sports giant in 1997.

Rowe also worked as an analyst for the WNBA’s Salt Lake City Stars before the team moved to San Antonio. In addition to her time with the Jazz, Rowe will continue in her role as an ESPN/ABC commentator this season.
During most game nights, Rowe serves as a reporter alongside Bolerjack and Bailey on the broadcasts.
