Utah Football, Kyle Whittingham Named Top Performers By Kirk Herbstreit
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – ESPN’s top college football analyst and College Gameday host Kirk Herbstreit gave high praise to Kyle Whittingham and Utah football.
Each week, Kirk Herbstreit compiles a list of his top individual performances, team performances and head coaches and Utah football was included in two of those lists.
Herbstreit put the Utes at No. 3 on his list of team performances after their 35-21 win over No. 18 Arizona State at Rice-Eccles Stadium. They are one of two Pac-12 teams to make the list.

Purdue knocked off No. 2 Iowa, LSU beat Florida at home, Oklahoma State defeated Texas, Air Force beat Boise State, Washington State knocked off Stanford, Baylor defeated BYU, Auburn beat Arkansas, Alabama dominated Mississippi State, Ole Miss took down Tennessee and UL Monroe beat Liberty.

- Nick Rolovich, Washington State
- Terry Bowden, UL Monroe

- Jeff Brohm, Purdue
All of those coaches with the exception of Dave Doeren where included in the top team performances list. NC State dominated Boston College on the road.
Utah improved their record to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in Pac-12 play. They will hit the road on Saturday, October 23 to face Oregon State. Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. MT on the Pac-12 Network.
