Dixie State Can’t Overcome Second Half Struggles In Loss To Tarleton State

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Dixie State Trailblazers couldn’t overcome a slow start in their 41-20 loss to Tarleton State on Saturday night.
The Trailblazers hosted the Texans at Greater Zion Stadium on Saturday, October 16.
The Trailblazers struggled in the final three quarters after a solid performance during the opening 15 minutes of action.
Dixie State trailed 14-10 at the end of the first quarter before allowing the Texans to add 17 points to their total before halftime.

The Blazers played solid defense in the second half but failed to put points on the board on offense.
Trailblazers quarterback Kenyon Oblad finished the game 15/30 passing for 108 yards and one interception.
Dixie State’s Drew Kannely-Robles ran the ball 20 times for 81 yards and two touchdowns.
With the loss, the Blazers fell to an 0-6 record on the season.
Dixie State’s next game is against the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks on Saturday, October 23 at 7 p.m. (MDT) on ESPN+.
