SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah basketball program was picked to finish 10th in the Pac-12 preseason media poll ahead of Media Day on Wednesday.
It’s just the third time that Utah basketball was picked to finish in the bottom third of the Pac-12. That was in the first two seasons in the Pac-12 in 2011-12 and 2012-13.
All but two seasons Utah has exceeded their preseason poll prediction. The first season they didn’t was when they were picked to finish second and did so in the 2014-15 season. The second time was in 2020-21 when they were predicted to finish eighth and ended the season in that spot in the standings.
Coming off a trip to the 2021 @FinalFour, @UCLAMBB is a near-unanimous favorite in the 2021-22 Pac-12 media poll!
