Utah Basketball Picked To Finish 10th In Pac-12 Preseason Media Poll
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah basketball program was picked to finish 10th in the Pac-12 preseason media poll ahead of Media Day on Wednesday.
It’s just the third time that Utah basketball was picked to finish in the bottom third of the Pac-12. That was in the first two seasons in the Pac-12 in 2011-12 and 2012-13.
All but two seasons Utah has exceeded their preseason poll prediction. The first season they didn’t was when they were picked to finish second and did so in the 2014-15 season. The second time was in 2020-21 when they were predicted to finish eighth and ended the season in that spot in the standings.
Here is the Pac-12 Preseason Media Poll along with the voting results:
- UCLA (32) – 404 points
- Oregon (2) – 373 points
- USC – 320 points
- Arizona – 245 points
- Oregon State – 245 points (tied for 4th)
- Colorado – 235 points
- Arizona State – 224 points
- Washington State – 221 points
- Stanford – 151 points
- Utah – 105 points
- Washington – 85 points
- California – 44 points
