SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz have released their jersey schedule, and for now, the team’s rotation doesn’t feature a black and white alternate.

The team’s website shows which jerseys are scheduled to be worn during which games, and while the Jazz will continue to feature four different jerseys, none of them are black and white.

Over the last several months KSL Sports has reported on the team’s shift towards a black and white motif under new owner Ryan Smith. Vivint Arena has undergone a transformation with the signage on the exterior of the building shifting from orange to black and white, while the large J-Note logo that sits in front of the arena has also changed from the team’s traditional mardi-gras colors to black with white lining.

The Jazz will wear their traditional white association jerseys, blue icon jerseys, yellow statement jerseys, and black and orange city edition jerseys through the team’s 82 game schedule.

The association jerseys will be the most prominent uniform worn as the team will suit up in white 30 times this season. The city edition jersey will be worn 30 times, with the yellow statement jersey worn 16 times, and the blue icon covering the team’s other 10 outings.

While the association jersey will be the most common uniform worn, the city edition will be featured ruing the team’s biggest games, including on opening night, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Last season the Jazz featured five jerseys in their rotation including a green earned jersey they were awarded for qualifying for the playoffs.

The Jazz will open the regular season on October 20 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
