SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Baltimore Ravens received trade inquiries about the team’s current group of running backs, a group that includes former BYU standout Ty’Son Williams, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The NFL insider reported trade interest in the running backs on Monday, October 11.
“The Baltimore Ravens, after losing three running backs to season-ending injuries during the preseason and then scrambling to replace them, have received trade inquiries from teams interested in their current group of running backs, league sources told ESPN,” Schefter wrote.
The 2021 NFL trade deadline is November 2.

After multiple running backs for the Ravens suffered season-ending injuries prior to Week 1, Williams was promoted to Baltimore’s starter for the 2021 season-opener.
Since then, the Ravens have signed Latavius Murray, Devonta Freeman, and Le’Veon Bell.
Williams is currently Baltimore’s second-leading rusher behind star quarterback Lamar Jackson.
He joined the Ravens during the 2020 season as an undrafted free agent after spending one season at BYU. Williams was on Baltimore’s practice squad in 2020 and made the franchise’s 53-man roster to start this season.
