Saints QB Taysom Hill Carted Off After Hit To Head During Game Against WFT

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill suffered a hit to the head and was carted off the field during a game against the Washington Football Team.
Washington hosted New Orleans on Sunday, October 10.
With 12:24 remaining in the first half, Saints quarterback Jameis Winston threw a pass intended for Hill. At the end of the play, Hill was on the ground after suffering a helmet-to-helmet hit by Washington’s William Jackson III.
After he was assessed by medical personnel, Hill was carted off the field and into the Saints’ locker room. Hill was sitting up as he was carted off the field. CBS reported that the former BYU star was able to move all of his extremities.

Jackson III was given a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty for the hit.
New Orleans finished the drive with a touchdown to tie the game at 13-13.
The Saints ruled Hill out for the rest of the contest with a concussion.

Hill had one catch for 11 yards before leaving the game.
