Snow Canyon Takes Down Pine View In OT Thriller

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Snow Canyon took down Pine View with a thrilling 44-43 overtime win on Friday night.
A thrilling overtime win for Snow Canyon as they got the touchdown and the two-point conversion. Hunter Johnson accounted for four touchdowns, three passing and one rushing for Snow Canyon. He found Brooks Esplin on all three TD’s. Esplin also ran in a touchdown, as did Drake Kelly. For Pine View, Keith Adams ran in four touchdowns with Sawyer Woods adding one score on the ground.
Here are all of the results in the 4A classification from the ninth week of the high school football season.
Region 10
No. 14 Desert Hills 34 @ Cedar City 33
The Reds held a 27-21 lead entering the fourth quarter and Desert Hills outscored Cedar City 13-6 in the final period to pick up the win. Tyden Morris ran in the game-winning touchdown with 1:08 left in the game. Noah Fuailetolo threw two touchdown passes, finding Awsten Turnbow and Eric Olsen. Turnbow also had a rushing touchdown in the win. Cedar City got two receiving and one rushing TD from Benjamin Ellis.

No. 24 Dixie 16 @ No. 25 Crimson Cliffs 10
Crimson Cliffs scored first off of a touchdown run by Kona Crowell. After a Dixie field goal, the Flyers found the end zone with a pass from Bronson Barben to Jakheo Mitchell. The Mustangs answered with a field goal before Barben found Mitchell again early in the fourth quarter.

No. 8 Ridgeline 49 @ Logan 7
The Riverhawks scored two touchdowns in each of the first three quarters to get the blow out win over Logan. Kaden Cox threw for four touchdowns, finding Jackson Olsen twice and once each to Max Major and Noah White. White also ran in two touchdowns in the win.
No. 23 Green Canyon 7 @ Sky View 20
Gavin Christiansen scored the first touchdown of the game for Green Canyon which turned out to be the last. They were about to force OT as they were on the goal line but fumbled the ball in the final seconds and Sky View returned it for a 99-yard touchdown. Garrett Zollinger threw two touchdowns for the Bobcats, connecting with Davis Hall and Kimball Jackson.
