LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head coach Blake Anderson gave an injury update on Aggies quarterback Logan Bonner on The Zone Sports Network.

Blake Anderson joined Scott Garrard and Hans Olsen on the “Hans and Scotty G” show on 97.5 FM/1280 AM The Zone on Tuesday following their loss to BYU.

Bonner left the game in the fourth quarter after landing awkwardly after throwing a ball down field and never returned. When Bonner left the game, he threw for 276 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, while rushing for 8 carries for 13 yards.

Anderson told Olsen and Garrard that Bonner has no structural damage in his knee and is very sore but the bye week will “do him a lot of good.”

The Aggies lost to BYU 34-20 last Friday in Logan. It was their second straight loss this season. Utah State will be off this week before returning to action on Saturday, October 16 at UNLV. Kickoff is at 5 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on The Zone Sports Network and televised on CBS Sports Network.
