Chiefs’ Andy Reid Becomes First Coach In NFL History To Win 100 Games With Two Teams

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid became the first coach in NFL history to reach 100 victories with two different teams.
Reid’s former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, hosted the Chiefs on Sunday, October 10.
The ex-BYU player and graduate assistant coached Kansas City to a 42-30 win.
It was Reid’s 100th victory as the Chiefs’ head coach.

Reid has led the Chiefs to 93 regular season wins and seven postseason victories during his nine seasons in Missouri.
Before coaching Kansas City, Reid served as the Eagles’ head coach from 1999-2012.
During Reid’s time in Philadelphia, the Eagles won 130 regular season contests and 10 playoff games.
About Andy Reid
Reid played college football at BYU from 1978-80 and returned to Provo as a graduate assistant on BYU head coach LaVell Edwards’ staff.
After a few years of coaching in college, Reid accepted a position with the Green Bay Packers in 1992.
He received his first NFL head coach position with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1999. Reid led the Eagles to an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIX where they fell to the New England Patriots 24-21. After the 2012 season, Reid’s contract with the Eagles wasn’t renewed.
In 2013, he was hired as the Chiefs’ head coach.

Two seasons ago, Reid led Kansas City to a 31-20 over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV.
Reid led the Chiefs to their second straight Super Bowl appearance last season, in which Kansas City was defeated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
