SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah native and PGA Tour member Tony Finau gave a shoutout to the Utes and BYU on College Gameday on Saturday morning.
A ton of golfers gave love to their alma mater or childhood teams as the guest picker was announced, which was Harris English, a Georgia grad.
Tony Finau appeared in the video midway through and it started with “UTAH” on the back of his hat. Finau turned around and revealed that he was wearing a Utes hat and a BYU shirt.
“Loving greetings from Utah,” Finau said in the video. “Go B-Y-Utes.”

The Salt Lake City, Utah native did not attend college after turning pro at the age of 17. Finau has attended many Utah football games and is friends with head coach Kyle Whittingham. He is also really good friends with Utah Jazz owner and BYU supporter Ryan Smith.
