SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake forward Anderson Julio scored an amazing game-winning goal to lift his club to victory over the LA Galaxy.

RSL hosted Los Angeles at Rio Tinto Stadium on Wednesday, September 29.

After 90 minutes of action, the match went into six minutes of extra time.

During the 95th minute of play, Julio scored an epic goal to give Real Salt Lake a late advantage.

The forward’s goal gave RSL a 2-1 lead, which turned in a final score a minute later.

It was Julio’s seventh goal of the 2021 campaign.

Entering the match, Julio had scored seven goals on the season. Julio has also recorded 26 shots and 12 shots on target through 24 appearances.

With the victory, Real Salt Lake stole three points.
