Raiders QB Derek Carr Gives Love To Damian Lillard With Audible Call Against Dolphins

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Raiders quarterback Derek Carr gave love to NBA All-Star and former Weber State Wildcat Damian Lillard with an audible call during Las Vegas’ game against the Miami Dolphins.
The Raiders hosted the Dolphins at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, September 26.
During the third quarter, Carr called out an audible to the original play for the Raiders.
“Damian Lillard! Damian Lillard!” Carr shouted to his teammates.

Carr and the Raiders moved from Oakland to Las Vegas after the 2019 NFL season.
Lillard is a native of the Bay Area city that the Raiders used to call home.
Carr and the Raiders defeated the Dolphins in a thrilling overtime victory. Las Vegas won by a score of 31-28.
Lillard posted about the win on Twitter.

The Raiders improved to 3-0 for the first time in 19 years with the win.
Las Vegas’ next game is against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, October 4 at 6:15 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on ESPN.
