Lions RB Jamaal Williams Loses Helmet After Fighting For Touchdown

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams lost his helmet after barreling through Baltimore Ravens defenders for a touchdown.
The Lions hosted the Ravens on Sunday, September 26.
With 8:16 remaining in the fourth quarter, Williams powered through a pile of players on the goal line and into the end zone for six points.
During the fight across the goal line, the former BYU lost his helmet. Williams popped up and celebrated the touchdown in the end zone with his teammates.

Williams’ touchdown cut Baltimore’s lead to 16-14.
The Ravens went on to win the game, 19-17. Baltimore’s kicker Justin Tucker barely made an NFL record 66-yard field goal to put the Ravens on top as time expired. Tucker’s kick bounced off of the crossbar and through the uprights for three points.

Williams finished the game with 12 carries for 42 yards and a touchdown. He also had two receptions for 25 yards in the Lions’ loss.
With the loss, the Lions fell to an 0-3 record on the season.
Detroit’s next game is against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, October 3 at 11 a.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on FOX.
