PROVO, Utah – BYU football moves up the AP Top 25 poll after defeating USF 35-27.
Saturday night’s win over the Bulls left BYU players with some long faces that led head coach Kalani Sitake with a reminder that they won the game. The AP pollsters didn’t have a long face towards BYU and their performance against the Bulls.

BYU climbed two more spots from No. 15 to No. 13 heading into week five of the college football season.
Entering the year, no one would have guessed that BYU would ever be ranked ahead of Clemson. Or within two spots of Ohio State. But that’s the case this week.
Clemson dropped a game to NC State causing the Tigers to plummet from No. 9 to No. 25. Then future Big 12 foe Iowa State lost to Baylor. The Cyclones fell out of the entire poll after suffering their second setback of the season.
BYU travels to Waco to play Baylor coming up on October 16. Former BYU offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes has helped lead a powerful offense with the Bears this season. They’ve jumped out to a quick 4-0 start.
BYU is one of only eight teams among the undefeated squads to have all of their victories come by at least a touchdown in regulation. The others include Arkansas, Cincinnati, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Oregon, and Wake Forest.
