SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Tony Finau will play Ian Poulter in a single match to conclude the Ryder Cup event on Sunday. Finau and Poulter will tee off at 11:21 a.m. as the eighth match to go out on Sunday.
Finau won his first encounter with Europe on Friday when he and Harris English defeated Shane Lowry and Rory Mcllroy. On Saturday, Finau was partnered with English again but the American duo lost to Lowry and Tyrrell Hatton.

Fortunately, the USA team holds a comfortable 11-5 lead going into Sunday’s singles matches. The USA needs 14.5 points to win the Ryder Cup, while Europe only needs 14 points following their victory in Paris in 2018.
Finau is enduring his second Ryder Cup event, in 2018 he comfortably beat Tommy Fleetwood 6&4 in their singles bout. He will be looking to add to that tally on Sunday when he squares up against Poulter.
