Damir Kreilach Taps In Goal To Trim Portland Lead In First Half

SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake midfielder/forward Damir Kreilach scored the first goal of the night for RSL in their road clash with the Portland Timbers.
In the 41st minute, the ball was served into the box when a Portland defender headed the ball towards the keeper. The keeper couldn’t corral the ball, allowing Damir Kreilach to tap the ball into the back of the net.
That cut Portland’s lead to 2-1 in the first half. It’s the 11th goal of the season for the MLS All-Star.

Portland scored their first goal of the match in the 27th minute when Felipe Mora found the back of the net. Just nine minutes later in the 36th minute, Dairon Asprilla scored to put the Timbers up 2-0. RSL will look to even the match in the second half.
