BYU Scores Quick Touchdown Against USF After Big Romney-To-Romney Connection

PROVO, Utah – The BYU Cougars scored a fast touchdown against the South Florida Bulls following a big play between quarterback Baylor Romney and wide receiver Gunner Romney.
The Cougars hosted the Bulls at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, September 25.
Only 1:55 into the opening quarter, the quarterback Romney connected with Masen Wake for a five-yard touchdown.
Two plays before the score, Baylor found his brother, Gunner, on a 49-yard deep ball.

Wake’s touchdown capped a four-play, 65-yard drive that took 1:55 off the clock.
On the drive, Romney went 2/2 passing for 54 yards and a touchdown.

He started the game in place of Jaren Hall, who suffered an injury late against Arizona State on September 18.
