Utah QB Ja’Quinden Jackson Scores TD Against Washington State On Second Career Snap

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah freshman quarterback Ja’Quinden Jackson scored his first college touchdown on his second career snap during the Utes’ game against the Washington State Cougars.
The Utes hosted the Cougars at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, September 25.
Late in the second quarter, Jackson took his first career snap and ran the ball for eight yards on a QB keeper.
On the subsequent play, the freshman ran the ball two yards and across the goal line for six points.

Jackson’s touchdown gave the Utes a 7-3 lead with 4:14 left in the first half.
Not only were the pair of plays Jackson’s first collegiate snaps, but they came in his first game action with the Utes.
Jackson’s touchdown capped a six-play, 80-yard drive that last 2:18.
