Utah State Looks To Improve To 4-0 On Season With Matchup Against Boise State

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah State football program looks to stay undefeated on the season and improve to a 4-0 record following the Aggies’ upcoming meeting with the Boise State Broncos.
The Aggies are slated to the Broncos at Maverik Stadium in Logan, Utah on Saturday, September 25.
Utah State enters the matchup on a perfect 3-0 start to its season. The Aggies have wins over Washington State, North Dakota, and Air Force. Two of the three victories were on the road.
The Broncos travel to Logan with a 1-2 record. After opening the year with a close road loss to UCF, Boise State rebounded in Week 2 with a blowout win over UTEP. Last week, the Broncos fell by one point at home to the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Saturday’s contest will be Boise State’s first game in Mountain West Conference action.

Through three games, the Aggies are averaging 41.0 points per game compared to the Broncos’ 35.0 points.
Utah State has moved the ball up and down the field with 563.3 yards per contest. Boise State is averaging 349.0 yards per game.
The Aggie defense is allowing opponents to score 30.7 points per game on 472.7 yards. The Broncos have allowed 23.3 points per contest on an average of 412.3 yards per contest.

As of Friday afternoon, ESPN’s FPI gave the Aggies a 33.4 percent chance to beat the Broncos.
