Dixie State Unable To Keep Pace With No. 12 UC Davis

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Dixie State Trailblazers were unable to keep pace with the No. 12 UC Davis Aggies and fell for the third time this season.

The Aggies hosted the Trailblazers on Saturday, September 18.

UC Davis cruised past Dixie State, 60-27.

Trailblazers quarterback Kenyon Oblad put up some big numbers but turned the ball over to the Aggies on multiple occasions.

Oblad was 32/58 passing for 342 yards, four touchdowns, and five interceptions.

Dixie State’s Jalen Powell led the team with 13 catches for 107 yards.

With the loss, the Trailblazers fell to 0-3 on the season, including 0-1 in conference action.

Dixie State’s next game is against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits on October 2 at 5 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on ESPN+.
