SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Tony Finau turns 32 years of age today as arguably the greatest golfer to ever come out of Utah continues to prepare for the upcoming Ryder Cup scheduled to take place at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin later this month.
The birthday celebrations started early for Finau who was captured dancing at an event shortly after being announced as a member of Steve Stricker’s Team USA Ryder Cup.

The upcoming Ryder Cup will mark the second appearance for Finau who debuted at the event in 2018 when the USA lost to Europe at Le Golf National in France. Team USA has won on 26 occasions while Europe will be vying for their 15th victory this year.
The last month has proved fruitful for Finau who also managed to secure his second PGA Tour victory when he prevailed in a playoff over Cameron Smith at The Northern Trust, the first leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs.
Finau waited five years to notch his second career victory on the PGA Tour. Many questioned whether the second win would ever eventuate given the number of second-place finishes and failed playoff losses prior to his second victory.

However, Finau prevailed victoriously and entered the remaining FedEx Cup playoff events with a giant weight off of his shoulders.
Finau concluded the FedEx Cup standings in 11th, despite being ranked 2nd entering the Playoff Finale.
Nonetheless, Finau is poised to celebrate his 32nd birthday in style preparing for the Ryder Cup. This past weekend, Finau along with his USA teammates were spotted practicing at Whistling Straits as the team prepares for an intense weekend.
The 2021 Ryder Cup will begin on September 24th and will run through September 26th.
