Big 12 Conference Members Extend Welcome Messages To BYU, New League Mates

PROVO, Utah – The Big 12 Conference is rolling out the welcome mat for BYU and the other new league mates. On Friday, all the reports became official as BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, and UCF became members of the league.
Existing Big 12 Conference members opened their social media arms with encouraging messages to bring in the four new schools.

“We are extremely excited to welcome BYU, Central Florida, Cincinnati and Houston into the Big 12 Conference. Athletics plays such a key role in the student and alumni experience on each of our campuses. In a period of a few short weeks, we have moved from a period of great uncertainty in the Big 12 to a bright, united future as a 12-team league competing at the highest levels beginning in 2025,” wrote Baylor President Linda A. Livingston, Ph.D.
