Brady, Buccaneers Top Prescott, Cowboys In Season-Opening Duel

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys in a season-opening duel on KSL TV.
The Buccaneers hosted the Cowboys at Raymond James Stadium for the first NFL game of the 20221 season on Thursday, September 9.
Brady led last year’s Super Bowl champions to a game-winning field goal in the final minute of action.
The Buccaneers topped the Cowboys, 31-29.

Both teams scored in every quarter of a game that went back-and-forth.
Brady finished 32/50 passing for 379 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Prescott was impressive in his return to the field. The Cowboys quarterback missed the majority of Dallas’ 2020 campaign after suffering an injury early in the season. Prescott ended the game 42/58 passing for 403 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.

Both teams had a pair of receivers with 100-yard performances and at least one touchdown catch.
Tampa Bay’s Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin each had over 105 yards receiving.

Dallas’ next contest is against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, September 19 at 2:25 p.m. (MDT) on CBS.
