Utah Jazz Add Irv Roland To Quin Snyder’s Coaching Staff

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz announced the addition of Irv Roland to Quin Snyder’s coaching staff.
Roland was hired by the Jazz on Thursday, September 2.
The new Jazz assistant coach last coached in the NBA with Mike D’Antoni’s Houston Rockets from 2017-19.

Roland’s first stint in the league came with the Boston Celtics in 2004. A year later, he joined the New Orleans Hornets. Roland was with the Hornets until 2010.
In 2013, Roland became an assistant coach with the Phoenix Suns. He worked for the Suns until 2017.
Roland is a native of Midwest City, Oklahoma. He played college basketball at Southwestern Oklahoma State University
Earlier this offseason, Snyder added Erdem Can to his coaching staff.
The Jazz open training camp on September 28 in preparation for the preseason to start on October 4. The NBA regular season begins on October 19.
