SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah football on social media sent out an impressive hype video ahead of their season opener against Weber State on Thursday night.
On Thursday morning, Utah football sent out a video titled “The Wait.” It was voiced by Utah tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Freddie Whittingham.
The video highlighted the 2020 season where it was played without fans in attendance, going through the COVID-19 pandemic and how “we remember how we got here.”
They also brought up Ty Jordan and “remembering what we have lost.”

Utah will kickoff the 2021 season on Thursday night against Weber State at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. MDT and will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
