Tony Finau Finishes BMW Championship With Round-Best Score Of Nine-Under

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – PGA Tour golfer Tony Finau finished the BMW Championship with an impressive final round of nine-under par.
The BMW Championship took place from August 26-29 at Caves Valley Golf Club in Baltimore, Maryland.
Finau posted a better final round than any other golfer at the event with a Day 4 score of nine-under, 63.
It was the Utah native’s best round of the tournament.

He finished the event tied for 15th place on the leaderboard with a total score of 16-under.

Day 1 – 67
Day 2 – 72
Day 3 – 70
Day 4 – 63
After the event, Finau was in second place in the FedEx Cup standings behind Patrick Cantlay.
Cantlay won the BMW Championship after playing six holes in sudden death playoff against Bryson DeChambeau. Both players were tied after 72 holes with a score of 27-under.

The event’s purse was $9.5 million.
The next PGA Tour event is the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. The event takes place from September 1-5 and will broadcast on NBC and Golf Channel.
