American Fork/West High School Football Game Canceled Due To COVID-19 Protocols

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – COVID-19 safety protocols forced the cancellation of the high school football game between the No. 5 American Fork Cavemen and No. 15 West Panthers.
The game was canceled on Wednesday, August 25, two days before it was scheduled to take place on Friday, August 27.
American Fork vs. West was the second game to get canceled on Wednesday.
The Cavemen vs. Panthers contest will no longer take place because of COVID-19 concerns within West’s program, a source told KSLSports.com. The game was slated to take place at West High in Salt Lake City, Utah.
After two weeks of the high school football season, American Fork is ranked No. 5 in the state and has a 2-0 record this season. The Cavemen opened the season with a victory over the Granger Lancers. American Fork followed up that game with a win over the Weber Warriors.
