SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Seattle Seahawks placed wide receiver John Ursua on injured reserve after the former Westlake and Cedar City standout suffered a season-ending knee injury.
Ursua suffered the injury and was carted off the field during Seattle’s 30-3 preseason loss to the Denver Broncos on Saturday, August 21.
“Johnny U and BBK, both of those guys got hurt seriously tonight, and it breaks our hearts,” Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said after the game. “This is a rough game and sometimes it takes a toll, and those two kids are hurt.”
