SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – PFF listed Utah Utes linebacker Devin Lloyd and BYU running back Tyler Allgeier to its Preseason Top 100 NFL Draft Prospects list.
The list was compiled by PFF’s Michael Renner.
Lloyd and Allgeier were the only local players to make the top 100 prospects list.

No. 57 – Devin Lloyd
Lloyd was listed at No. 57 on PFF’s prospects list for the 2022 NFL Draft.
The junior was one of seven linebackers named in the top 100.
“Lloyd was quite clearly the leader of the 2020 Utah defense, racking up 27 stops in only five games,” Renner wrote. “He’s got three-down athleticism combined with enough physicality to take on blocks. It was honestly a bit surprising he even returned for his redshirt senior campaign in 2021.”
In three seasons at Utah, Lloyd has accumulated 145 total tackles, 84 solo tackles, 8.5 sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, one interception, and a touchdown.

Lloyd and the Utes begin the 2021 season against the Weber State Wildcats on Thursday, September 2 at 5:30 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.
No. 100 – Tyler Allgeier
Allgeier was listed at No. 100 on the top 100.
The sophomore was one of six running backs named to the list.
“Allgeier had the highest overall rushing grade of any returning back in the country,” Renner wrote. “He averaged a ridiculous 7.6 yards per carry, of which 4.7 came after contact last season. He’s a hulking 220 pounds and the definition of a one-cut runner.”
During his three seasons as BYU, Allgeier has run the ball 176 times for 1,298 yards and 13 touchdowns. He’s also caught the ball 18 times for 238 yards and one touchdown.

Before emerging as a standout running back for the Cougars, Allgeier had 26 total tackles, 19 solo tackles, one pass breakup, and a forced fumble as a linebacker for BYU.
Allgeier and the Cougars open the season against the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday, September 4 at 8:30 p.m. (MDT). BYU and Arizona will play at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders. The game will broadcast on ESPN and KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM.
The 2022 NFL Draft will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from April 28-30, 2022.
