Former BYU LB Fred Warner Shoots Up NFL’s Top 100 Players List For 2021 Season

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner rose up the NFL’s Top 100 Players list from his rank last season.
Wagner was named to the league’s The Top 100 Players of 2021 on Sunday, August 22.
The Top 100 Players list is voted on by NFL players.
This season, Warner was ranked No. 21 among all players in the league.
In 2020, the former BYU star was No. 70 on the list.

About Fred Warner
During his college career at BYU, the elder Warner had 264 total tackles, 158 solo tackles, 6.5 sacks, 1 quarterback hit, 7 interceptions, and 5 fumble recoveries in 49 career games.
Following his college career, Warner was selected by San Francisco during the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
The former Cougar star has become one of the best linebackers in the league in only a few seasons.

Warner will start his fourth NFL season in September.
During his first three years in the league, Warner has recorded 367 total tackles, 253 solo tackles, four sacks, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, three interceptions, 21 pass breakups, and one touchdown.

Warner and the Niners begin the regular season against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, September 12 at 11 a.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on FOX.
